About the Book
MEMOIRS TO ME: LESSONS IN BLOOMING In a world that's constantly telling women that permanent perfection is the goal, Memoirs to Me: Lessons in Blooming sheds light on finding the beauty in the process of life. This book is birthed from the marriage of life’s lessons and God’s grace meeting me somewhere in the middle. Equipped with 100+pages of withering, blooming, and self-discovery, this memoir takes readers through lessons learned from Brittaney's 5-year journey through life's most confusing and eye-opening moments. Each page is full of fear, failure, heartache, honest revelation, and tear-jerking truths; yet, glimmers of hope, resilience and a reminder of God's grace.
About Brittaney
BRITTANEY MAJOR is a thinker, storyteller, and creator living in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina. As a child, she always found comfort in the arms of a pen and piece of paper; this love continued well into her adulthood. Years later, her words are being used to heal broken places of a larger community of people that she never imagined. Her passion for creating spaces for people to be both broken and rebuilt is what has led her to this moment. Allowing the lessons of life, love, and loss to groom and mold her into a beautiful flower who is finally able to appreciate the journey; this is truly the foundation of her work which further embodies her journey as a writer, author, and reflective practitioner. This initial project, Memoirs to Me: Lessons in Blooming was birthed in October of 2018. With a new understanding of life's most turbulent seasons, Brittaney lives each day by the words of her favorite quote, "the only person you should try and be better than is the person you were yesterday."
